Promotion Period

Offer valid only on February 14, 2026 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM (local time), or while supplies last.

Eligibility & Participation

Offer is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, directors, officers, store associates and agents of JCPenney ("Sponsor"), PROMOSIS, INC. ("Administrator"), and each of their respective parent companies, divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, fulfillment, marketing and promotional agencies and suppliers involved in the offer ("Program Entities" or "Released Parties"), as well as the members of each of their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and in-laws, regardless of where they live) and persons residing in the same household of such individuals are not eligible to participate. Participants agree to the release of their name and email address to Sponsor and Administrator for record keeping and disclosure as required by law. Offer is void where prohibited and is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Sponsor and Administrator will have final determination in all matters relating to this Promotion. Limit: One exchange/gift per person.

  2. Scan the promotion QR code displayed at the counter with your mobile phone and agree to the promotion terms and conditions displayed on the promotion website. Message and data rates may apply.
  3. Surrender one (1) piece of jewelry previously gifted by a former partner ("Ex-Partner Jewelry"). The Ex-Partner Jewelry may be of any retail value, material, or condition. Edible candy jewelry or plastic items will not be accepted for the exchange.

The Gift

In exchange for the Ex-Partner Jewelry, the customer will receive one (1) 1/2 CT Lab-Grown Diamond in 14k Yellow Gold Over Silver (Approximate Retail Value: $375). This gift will be provided to the customer at the time of the exchange. No substitutions. Ex-Partner Jewelry and Gift cannot be redeemed for cash. If a store runs out of any gifts during the promotion period, no further exchanges will be accepted and no further gifts will be provided. Roosevelt Field location will have 100 pieces to exchange, all other locations listed above will have 50 pieces each to exchange.

Ownership and Finality

Transfer of Ownership: By participating in this promotion and agreeing to these terms & conditions, the customer warrants they have full legal ownership of the Ex-Partner Jewelry and hereby irrevocably transfers all rights, title, and interest in the item to JCPenney.

  1. No Returns of Surrendered Items: Once the exchange is complete, the Ex-Partner Jewelry cannot be returned to the customer under any circumstances. By accepting the Ex-Partner Jewelry, JCPenney makes no representations concerning its value and the Item may be donated, recycled, resold, transferred or disposed of at JCPenney's sole discretion.
  2. All Exchanges are Final: The offered JCPenney jewelry gift is provided "as-is", may be of equal, lesser, or greater value than the Ex-Partner Jewelry and is not eligible for return, cash redemption, store credit or exchange for other JCPenney merchandise.

Exclusions & Limitations

No Purchase Necessary: No purchase is required to participate in this promotion.

  1. Participating Stores Only: Valid only in the Fine Jewelry department at participating JCPenney stores. Not valid on jcp.com.
  2. Verification: JCPenney reserves the right to verify eligibility and to refuse to accept any Ex-Partner Jewelry for any reason, at its sole discretion, including if it is inappropriate or poses a safety risk (e.g., biohazards or sharp broken edges) or if the participant is engaged in fraud or other untoward conduct. JCPenney reserves the right to cancel or modify this promotion if it is not capable of running as planned or for reasons beyond its control.

Release of Liability

By participating, customers release Catalyst Brands LLC including Penney Op Co LLC d/b/a JCPenney, its affiliates, employees, directors, officers, and agents of JCPenney ("Sponsor"), PROMOSIS, INC. ("Administrator"), and each of their respective parent companies, divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, fulfillment, marketing and promotional agencies and suppliers involved in the offer ("Program Entities" or "Released Parties") from any claims related to this promotion, including with regard to the sentimental or financial value of the Ex-Partner Jewelry.

Use of Data

Sponsor will collect personal data about Eligible Participants online, in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By participating in the offer, Eligible Participants hereby agree to Sponsor's collection and usage of their personal information for purposes of the offer and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor's Privacy Policy.

Dispute Resolution

THIS PROMOTION IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Promotion, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Massachusetts having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than participants' actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Promotion), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
